What's Your Why?
For this project I am going to make something I have already made, Not only have I already made one of these EDC trays but it was actually one of my more recent videos. The truth is this project isn’t about the project its self but more about just getting out into the shop and breaking a cycle of not putting in my time in here. I love having a shop and I have worked very hard to acquire all the tools in here and set up this space the way I want it but as life goes sometimes my focus ends up elsewhere and less of my free time ends up in the shop than I maybe want. I wanted a win today,, I needed an easy project that I don’t overdo and can possibly finish the same day I start.
This Basic EDC tray CNC file gives you the SVG/DXF files to cut your own EDC tray on your CNC. The final measurements of the tray are 12’’ x 8‘‘ (300mm x 200mm) the thickness of the tray is 1” (25mm). This tray is designed to have 1/8 (2mm) leather imbedded in the base of each section and includes the SVG for that.
